Structural integrity analysis of storage tank using FEM
Zahradníček, Pavel ; Nováček, Filip (referee) ; Stuchlík, Viktor (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the storage tanks for petroleum products. The introductory part is devoted to the distribution of the storage tanks, associated standards and maintenance of tanks. Another part goes about the analysis of real case of a tank collapse. There was created a 3D model of the collapsed tank according to the measured values in the tank. It was created a tank shell model by drawing documentation and analysis of the results of the accident investigation using the finite element method (FEM) by program ANSYS. Calculation was performed on the buckling resistance of the structure according to ČSN EN 1993-1-6 and its comparison with the results of FEM analysis in ANSYS. The aim of the study was to find the critical condition of the structure and determination of the critical internal underpressure and overpressure. At the end there were determined measures for safe operation and settings of the valve members.
Meta-analýza studií asymetrické transmise cen ropy u palivové produktové vertikály benzínu a nafty
Kostruchová, Klára
Kostruchová Klára. Meta-analysis of asymmetric transmission oil prices studies in the fuel product verticals of petrol and diesel. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2018. The topic of this thesis is the meta-analysis of asymmetric price transmission between the price of oil and the prices of other petroleum products, also known as "rockets & feathers". The empirical analysis is based on binomial and multinomial logit classification models to evaluate the empirical evidence of the oil price asymmetry. In both cases, approximately 75 % of the values were correctly classified. An important finding is that significant regressions include methodological variables, namely frequency observation and estimates made on panel data. In general, studies with higher expected rates (ie panel studies and higher frequency studies) have less frequent asymmetric transmissions. In the case of fundamental variables, there is no significant evidence of their classification capability of the presence of asymmetry of price transmission.
Možnosti represivních aktivit HZS při haváriích s únikem ropných látek v dopravě
Krajíček, Tomáš
This bachelor thesis deals with the problems of petroleum substances leakage in transport. Literary overview explains term concerning Fire Rescue Service, traffic accidents, fire protection units or petroleum and the transport of petroleum products. Another part of this thesis is dedicated to oil spills and the repressive activities of fire protection units for their disposal. Further, the thesis focuses on devices which are vital for traffic accidents involving a leakage of petroleum substances. In the last part of the thesis, the most frequent causes of traffic accidents involving leakage of petroleum substances are listed and compared.

THE ACTION OF INTEGRATED RESCUE SYSTEM SQUAD CONCERNING A LEAK OF OILS INTO THE RIMOV DAM
URBAN, Jiří
Nowadays, numerous extraordinary events can be seen about, such as fires, traffic accidents, rescuing people from heights or depths as well as leakage and subsequent disposal of dangerous substances, whether chemical, biological or radioactive ones, which can be very harmful to human health or be a cause of an ecological catastrophe. In the Czech Republic, the Integrated Rescue System deals with and liquidates such emergency events, as its responsibilities lie in the co-ordination of all bodies involved. The subject of this thesis is to evaluate the danger impending during the leaking of a dangerous substance in a form of oil products. Specifying certain methods of type activity of the Integrated Rescue System{\crq}s intervening bodies including the Fire-Brigade{\crq}s divers is a result of this thesis. Such methodology could be used in practice during similar events. These days, the probability of such events occurring is very high and therefore it is appropriate to specify a particular procedure, which will be followed by the Integrated Rescue System{\crq}s bodies.
